From the eerie view of newborn stars emerging in the Eagle Nebula, to the amazing peek at protoplanetary disks hiding in the Orion Nebula, to the spectacular look at the faintest galaxies ever yet seen, this new set of images from the Hubble Space Telescope is sure to amaze viewers. These incredible images and the new discoveries they represent are explained in fascinating descriptive captions provided by the Exploration in Education program at the Space Telescope Science Institute. There are 22 images in all.
Customer Review: Colorful, Space Fun, Easy to Install
Simple, Fun on the computer, you can view the photos in their natural glory, each one labled for identification & learning of some of the comos’ most beautiful objects. Easily can use this software as a screen saver, automated slide show, wallpaper, and even as an “image puzzle”, just by following the simple, clear Installation instructions. The simplicity and ease of setup of the software, certainly made this a good purchase for the money.
Customer Review: Awed, then Disappointed
I purchased this screen saver pack hoping that I’d be able to import the pictures into my current screen saver software, WebShots. However, Second Nature has created a similar screen saver program and the pictures are saved in a proprietary format. Therefore, you either use the screen saver program provided or say ‘Bye bye’ to your investment. Second Nature offers 1000s more pictures at a website, similar to WebShots. Unfortunately, I’m too vested in my current program to begin anew.
Also, the resolution of the photos doesn’t hold when your display is set to 1280×1024. Most of the photos are blurry. Perhaps at 800×600? Click To Buy…
